A Safe Space for Your Journey

  • Mood disorders (such as anxiety and depression);

  • Stress management and overwhelm;

  • Life transitions and adjustment issues;

  • Difficulties associated with perinatal mental health;

  • Supporting families impacted by the criminal justice involvement;

  • Interpersonal and relationship difficulties;

  • Emotional regulation and impulsive behaviours;

  • Addictive and excessive behaviours (such as gambling, substance use, pornography use, and internet use;

  • cultural transition difficulties, particularly individuals from South Eastern or Eastern Asian backgrounds

My Approach to Individual Therapy

My approach is client-centred, collaborative and tailored to your individual needs. Whether you're facing immediate difficulties or seeking deeper self-understanding, I'm here to support you every step of the way. We'll work together to build on your self-awareness and strengths, identify patterns that may be holding you back, and develop practical tools to help you navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and resilience.

I have experience working with a variety of clients within public and private settings. I utilise a combination of:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT);

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT);

  • Mindfulness;

  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT);

  • Psychodynamic- and Schema-informed therapy; and

  • Internal Family Systems Therapy.

What to Expect

Individual therapy sessions are 50 minutes long. In our first session, we'll discuss what brings you to therapy, your goals, and begin to build a therapeutic relationship based on trust and understanding. Weekly sessions are typically recommended initially, though we'll work together to determine the frequency that best supports your needs
